Nuno felt coat with raw fleece collar

 

I had a few fleece collars that I made this summer. This is a vest with felted silk rayon velvet and raw fleece details.  The color is so nice but I could never re-create it, so I only had enough for a vest

Playing around, inserting a crystal chandelier inside my oversize felt lamp shade

There is snow here, but some leaves brought from California allowed for some practicing of eco dye as taught by Irit Dulman.

 I enjoy using felting with other textile techniques. These collars are felted, but the surface is recycled silk remnants.
