Experimenting with combining my skirt and jacket forms and  adding details..

I don't do a lot of eco print. I live up north and the famed Eucalyptus does not like the climate here.  But there are local options...like this grapevine..

Finishing this coat with silk and velvet fabrics, pleats in the back and pockets. It is amazing how you can build up your project on the table- using knowledge hard earned while I was still trying to sew..Not a stitch needed here and I love it!

I am not one to post too many pictures of myself ..but I did make it to Kent State Fashion Museum yesterday and got to meet a felt pioneer- Thomas Horst!

I was never into sequins until I saw Moroccan wedding blankets and thought maybe I could use the idea for a felt project.. the shiny sequins and the raw fleece looks beautiful together!
